Um terremoto atingiu a costa japonesa na manhã desta terça-feira {{do Japão, final da segunda-feira por aqui}}. O terremoto teve magnitude de 7,3 graus na escala Richter – o maior já registrado nesta escala é de 9,5 e ocorreu no Chile, em 1960.

Foi emitido um alerta de Tsunami para a região. O fato chama atenção por ter sido no mesmo local que, em 2011, um outro terremoto atingiu o local, danificando gravemente as usinas nucleares do local e levando milhares a ficarem sem residências, além de mortos e feridos.
